What are your hobbies?
I write non-fiction and fictional short stories, poetry and am always working on my GAN (Great American Novel). I love reading, listening to music, and going on walks in the woods with my family and dog in the local state and national parks.

What do you do for fun?
I like to travel around the city and suburbs for garage and estates sales. I'm always looking for something out of the ordinary and love talking strangers. They help me find ways to enrich the characters I write about. I also love cooking for my family and friends and going out for great food.

Who is your favorite music artist or band?
My tastes are pretty eclectic, anything from classical to Metallica, (although I can't handle screamo or death metal). My summer listening habits this year included Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, Head Automatica, Santana, Kanye, Outkast, Dave Matthews, Bob Dylan, & of course the Dead.

What do you like best about your job?
I love talking to the recipients, the challenge of raising money, and being busy all the time.

What do you like best about New Age?
I especially love the New Age employees; they are a fun and quirky group. I have never experienced a realm of acceptance like you find here.
